Terms & Conditions – Events & Games Hire

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By using this website or by placing an order with ourselves you agreed that any action for damages brought against WibbleJelly Ltd., it’s officers or employees shall be within the jurisdiction of a court within Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.

Damage and Breakages

The customer is responsible for any deliberate damage or breakages to any supplied equipment caused by the event participants or by others. The cost may be up to the replacement cost of the damaged or broken equipment. Normal wear and tear will not normally be charged for unless WibbleJelly Ltd. believe the damage was deliberate or caused by the negligence of the event organiser or their staff.

Deposits

A deposit may be requested when an event is booked, typically deposits are payable either when the event is booked or a minimum of 6 months before the event.

Deposits are non refundable for any reason including, but not limited, to cancellations due to pandemics, foot and mouth disease, adverse weather, insufficient participants and closing of the event venue. Where monies have been spent by WibbleJelly Ltd. on previously agreed event specific games, activities or materials that are in excess of the amount of the deposit, WibbleJelly Ltd. may invoice the event organisers for the excess amount.

Event organisers are advised to consider Event Cancellation and Pandemic Insurance to cover any cancellation costs that may be incurred.

Delivery

Event Hire games and activities will usually be delivered by our own transport. Delivery charges vary depending on the distance to be traveled, you will be advised of delivery costs when you place your order.

International Orders

Please contact us for event and games hire outside of mainland Great Britain. Events outside of the mainland Great Britain may incur additional transport costs. The customer will also be responsible for any import duties and local taxes due on any orders they place.

Errors and Omissions

If an error is discovered in the price of the item(s) you have hired, we will inform you and issue a full refund as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fullfil an order for an item which was advertised at an incorrect price.

Payment

The balance of any payment for events or games and activity hire is due before WibbleJelly Games leaves the event at the end of the event.

Out preferred method of payment is by Bank Transfer, details will be sent with our invoice. We can also use Paypal to handle payments, you do not need a Paypal account as they also offer a facility to pay by credit and debit card.

If you wish you may pay by cheque drawn on a UK bank, please email us your order and we will send you details of how to pay by cheque. Under no circumstances will goods ordered or hired by cheque, including ‘e-cheques’, be dispatched or hired until the cheque has cleared, please allow 10 – 14 days for the cheque to clear.

Payment Refusal

Any payments that are made by a customer and subsequently refused, such as, but not limited to, cheques returned by the bank, shall incur a £20.00 handling charge for each transaction to cover the charges incurred from our bank and to cover our administration charges. Refusal to pay for the goods and the handling charge may result in legal action being taken against you.
